Points to speak on “Equality is a myth”:

  • Equality is necessary to achieve a good and balanced society, which ensures better living standards for all. But still, there are many kinds of inequalities in society such as social inequality, economic inequality, gender inequality etc.
  • Economic inequality has multiple consequences, especially it can limit our exposure. For example, these days, good quality education is expensive, thereby limiting the opportunities for the less privileged. Similarly, economic inequality can impact the next generation of those individuals too.
  • Social inequality comprises a wide spectrum such as discrimination based on gender, race, caste, religion, ethnicity etc. Still there exists social inequality in many parts of the world including the developed nations.
  • Gender inequality is evident in the percentage of women in higher positions across the fields including politics, corporates, bureaucracy etc. Even in the 21st century, Some families especially poor families prefer to educate male children over female children.
  • Democratization of technology is helping to bridge inequalities in society through the availability of information and also by creating awareness and opening doors for many opportunities.

Conclusion:

Equality is still a myth. But instead of striving to achieve equality, we should be aiming for equitability that leads to a harmonious and fair society.

Now days we all can see govt take many initiative to make equality
They trying to impower the women’s
They are opened several platform for girls which is not opened for girls previously eg in defences ,3talak,but yeah I m agree still there is huge partiality on the basis of caste ,gender, colour, economically etc in some areas ,tribe in the country
It can only be applicable if we all taking step to make it happen
And believe if it can happen the day is not so far when you see everyone is equal but it takes ur contribution tooo…….

Equality has become a reality in some fields and that change is tremendous, but still equality remains to be a myth where people don’t allow girls to work for long . They think that girls should get married soon whereas boys are liberal to do anything and anytime
There are many other changes to be brought in the minds of people , only then we could land a fair society. Reservation is one of the barriers which is provoking inequality rather than bringing equality. It is giving opportunities to people but they are people who are availing it and there are people who are misusing it.

    Yes, Undoubtedly !
Equality is a myth. There are lot barriers in our Society, in terms of Religion, Caste, economic status nd many more !
Low Literacy rates, lack of awareness are some of root causes of these current scenarios.

Of course equality is myth we can experience it in our daily life. Society has put some barriers specially on the women that what they supposed to do and what not. But now situation has been improved over the years and we need to do more as a society.
